I am attempting to write my own plugin to merge constituents. The existing merge utility is just not sufficient for our purposes. Has anyone out there had any success doing a customized merge through VBA? I am a little concerned with merging the gift information. I think I am going to have to create new gifts in order to change the constituent of the gifts I am merging from. Looks like I would then lose the batch number, and I'm not sure what other information. Any help or insight would be appreciated. I might just have to resign to just working off of the RE merge tool.
