Does anyone know if you can run Financial Edge on a Storge Area Network?

Is blackbaud supporting your database? Did using a SAN make your contract with Blackbaud void when it comes to getting help? I ask Blackbuad rep these question but he had no idea what aSAN was.

We currently use a FastT 600. However, as we have come to use it, it is a little too much for our needs so we are actually going to do a small downgrade to an entry-level or department-level SAN, the IBM DS400.
