I'm wondering if anyone out there has ever appealed to their sustainers (automatic monthly donors) to upgrade their monthly contributions and/or to make special one-time gifts. We are working on such an appeal now and really have no idea what kind of returns to expect. Any thoughts or anecdotes would be super helpful. Thanks so much! We send out a Christmas appeal segment to these donors with an upgrade matrix. We have had some success with this.

Thanks, Darlene. We sent ours off just before xmas with an upgrade matrix also. Our returns are dropping off now at around 5% response. If you happen to know what your response rate has been like, I'd be very interested to hear.
