Check the acuracy of data being entered in database.

What procedures are you using to check the accuracy (integrity) of data being entered in the database. Such as a weekly, monthly reports that lets you know if duplicates records are being entered, wrong add/sals, wrong cons codes etc.. What format, and do anyone have samples? I find the canned Gift Entry validation report to be invaluable. Reports/Financial/Gift Entry Validation I send it out on a daily basis to the whole office after gifts are entered so if an appeal needs to be changed or a solicitor called/updated, etc. - especially if a gift was received with no documentattion so we atttribute it to the annual fund and it was really the result of something else... Everyone has a chance to share that information because I tend to find that a lot of money-raising folk 'forget' to pass information onto the people doing data entry.
