Working with BB on this I'm told it cannot be done without going to programming where they would need to create a special report. Maybe someone out there knows of a way! If so, please help! THE NEED: We need to pull the pay-cash info for those payments which were applied to more than one pledge. Other words, if a payment of $2000 paid off four different pledges of $500 each, we need to pull all four of those $500 payments and in a way that each of those payments can be associated with the original total payment. Don't confuse this with the Split Gift Tab which is different and which gets posted to Accounting or GL. We want to know how the payments were applied against pledges. As well, we do want to look at it from the perspective of the pledges unless each of the applied amounts can tie back to the original total payment and thus tie to each other. Thanks Don Harris

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking if your export the pledge info, pledge balance, the pay-cash gifts, and the gift ID (or gift import ID number), and bring all that into Crystal, you might be able to write a formula that shows Gift (i.e., Gift Import ID's) that are listed multiple times, and if the Pledge Balance is $0.00 - that should give you a head start. Already thought of that but found out that any ID's that were available for extraction were different for each amount which was applied against a separate pledge. Thus, nothing to tie back those applied payment portions. No identical ID's.

We had this same issue but for another reason. We wanted to query to find all payments which were for pledges over a certain amount. This is apparently not possible without some sort of linking ID. Now I know it must be in the database (or else how would there even be a relationship) but BB does not have it available as a query or export field. Melissa G. Melissa S.
