I am looking for suggestions about how to track gifts that come in but don’t come through Development. Example I received notice that we received a donation from a Board Member for an Alumni. The check did not come down through Development so if I post it we will not balance for the day but I need to track this some way. Any Ideas would be geat. I have set up a special "fund" code and when I run reports I include all funds except that one. Our auditor can check this fund at year end and compare with what they have deposited for the Foundation.
