In the past I had the usual constituent codes:  resident family, volunteers, daycare family, referral source, business, foundation, etc.  In the past year, we have been expanding our base of services to add hospice, at home care, respite care and the like to our list of services which had already included senior day care, nursing, assisted living and counseling for caregivers.

I'm trying to determine whether or not each of the services needs their own individual constituent codes or would it be better off tracked somewhere else.  I also don't want to turn my donor database into a medical one where I list every service that a client or their family has touched even though some of that could be critical to the gift officers' ask.  I would appreciate hearing from other multi-service organizations.  Thanks.
