Trying to ascertain whether the financial year in RE is April to March but with no luck. Can anyone tell me what the range is.. and also, can this be changed?

Timon, your ability to this may depend on your access, but if you go to Configuration > General, top right will show the ending month of fiscal year. Looks like you are looking for "March" to be displayed here.  By the way, all funds have same fiscal year.

The way I read the question, Timon is asking if RE sets the date to April /March. But I beleive the organization can set the fiscal year end date according to their fiscal year. I know we were able to set the fiscal year according to our fiscal year end June, on the General Tab. 

I'm in line with Joan.  RE lets you, the organization, set the fiscal/financial year.  Otherwise all the reporting would not reflect properly among other things.

 Look under Configuration --> General

But!  I would not change it unless your organization has altered your Fiscal Year!

Sorry didn't answer in enough detail.  RE does not set fiscal year.  It's set up by organization - I would like to assume that not everyone with RE  has the ability to change the data on the General tab. As I have access, statement that Timon  was looking for March would tell that it's set up correctly without messing with/changing it.  And yes, it definitely should not be changed unless it is incorrect and with system admin knowledge.  :-)
