Question on whether to create or enable ENDPOINT on RE7 database?

We are running System Center Operating Management that gave us error on SQL database for RE7. I am wondering if you have any information on whether we should configure or enable the SQL Server Service Broker or Database Mirroring endpoint? If so, any known issues related to this? If not, should we enable/configure endpoint? Regards, Rick Baker Data Center Engineer, Gallaudet University

     Rick,

The Service Broker only needs to be enabled if you plan on building or using applications that require the functionality of the Service Broker.  The Raiser's Edge doesn't use the Service Broker for any feature.

The database Mirroring Endpoint will be used to communicate between servers if you have database mirroring enabled.

Either of these SQL features shouldn't interfere with The Raiser's Edge but if you do plan on enabling them, you should do it on a test system first.
