Greetings,

 I've made a report in CR that shows the package description, number of gifts and total gift amount.  I have them grouped in specific orders and have them subtotaled by group (which is why the canned appeal analysis report doesn't work for me). 

 Anyway, now I need to include number solicited for each package, but how do I link the package number solicited to each package?  I keep getting the same number for all packages.

There is a field specifically for "No. Solicited" (for both the Appeal and Package) in the Export.  If you are doing a Constituent export, you can find it under Gifts/Appeals/Appeal/Packages.  If that field has not been updated, you can edit the Package and, using a query on that Assigned Appeal, update that "No. Solicited" field automatically.

Another option, within the Report, would be to group by Appeal and then Package.  You can do a count summary for the Package and one for the Appeal.

 I'm using a Gift Export because I only need to see the income from the mailing. 

My report groups by Appeal, and then groups the gifts within each appeal by package.  So, it shows something like this:

 Appeal 1

       Package 1    (Total # of Gifts for Package)    (Total Income for Package)   [I need No. Solicited per specific Package here]

       Package 2    (Total # of Gifts for Package)    (Total Income for Package)   [I need No. Solicited per specific Package here]

and so on.

I've suppressed the details because I do not need to see each gift, I just need the package totals that I have.  However, how do I match up the No. Solicited field to each package total/group?  If I put the No. Solicited field in the Group footer, it gives me the same number for every package.
