    Record Add Date

Where is the add date located on the donor record? We converted our Results Plus database in April of 2009 to Raiser's Edge. I am now attempting to find out the records that were added in the last three years, but cannot find an add date on the record.

Thanks for any help you can give!

If you are looking Constituent by Constituent you can click File/Properties to see the data. If you are trying to query on it:

    Constituent Information/Date Added

    Re: Record Add Date

Open the donor record and go to File --> Properties and you will see the date added, who added it, last date something on the record changed and the person who did it. You can also run queries on this field. It's under Constituent Information and it is Date Added. Also there are Added By, Date Last Changed and Last Changed By.

Just an FYI, our db was converted by Blackbaud. All of the records that were part of the conversion process have an add date of 5/21/99 which is the date of the conversion. We do not have the date the records originally came into being in our legacy system. I don't know if we could have had the original add date preserved (I came in on the tail end of the conversion) or not.

    Cindy,

It's not readily viewed on the constitutent record.  To see it on a record you can choose "File" >> "Properties".  It will show the date record was added.

I'd suggst running a query as it is one of the fields you can use for your criteria.  You can choose a less than date or a between date.  You could sort by date added to get an idea of the dates to make the query even more specific.

    Also, see knowledgebase solution BB47017

Laura- Just an FYI.  When we converted we had Blackbaud convert the date added to our old system into a constituent attribute in RE.  This way, we can tell how long a constituent has been a contact even if they have not been a donor.

    Re: Record Add Date

Thanks for the information! I found the date under properties. I ran the query with date added, and all the old records had the conversion date on them. I'll just pick those up from the old database Results Plus - I still know how to use that one!! But I can get the records from R.E. since the conversion date.

    Thanks for everyone's help.
