    Project Manager - CRM Implementation

    Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is the worldwide leader for research to cure type 1 diabetes.  It sets the global agenda for diabetes research, and is the largest charitable funder and advocate of diabetes science worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.  Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly, and can be fatal or lead to devastating complications. Since its founding in 1970 by parents of children with type 1 diabetes, JDRF has awarded more than $1.3 billion to diabetes research, including more than $156 million in FY2008.  In FY2008, the Foundation funded more than 1,000 centers, grants in laboratories, hospitals, and industry, and fellowships.

    JDRF is currently seeking a Project Manager for CRM Implementation for our National Office located in downtown Manhattan. In this role, you will manage the CRM implementation of our new donor management system.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive the project to ensure on-time and on-budget implementation of the CRM
    • Manage CRM and CMS vendors acknowledging their capabilities and interdependencies
    • Determine and manage metrics to provide leading performance indicators throughout the implementation
    • Assess and plan for mitigation of risk attached to this effort, identifying and assessing barriers to success

    Requirements include but not limited to:

    • Exceptional program management capabilities.
    • Multiple senior level experiences of CRM implementations in complex environments.
    • Strong vendor management expertise.
    • Technical expertise at the level enough to effectively manage existing vendors and drive towards success of CRM implementation.
    • Able to drive to success assessing and eliminating barriers.
    • Real driver, self initiating and motivated
    • Able to work effectively both independently and within a team
    • High degree of flexibility, organization and multi-tasking capabilities
    • Able to collaboratively drive the resolution of open issues with multiple stakeholders
    • Refined ability to influence others
    • Excellent decision making skills
