Hello Everyone,

This is a question for my Forum Friends that are in Higher Ed.  Where is the best place to enter Honorary Degree or Distinguished Alumni information?  I was thinking in the Honor/Memoral tab.

 I actually track that on an attribute.  I use the honor/memorial tab only for things related to money - gifts, trusts, etc.  I use attributes as it seems that I'm rarely segmenting people out for just that reason, so it works pretty well.

I would add it in the education tab if it is a degree of somesort but awards and honors, etc-- attributes!  The honor memorial tab is for incoming gifts that honor someone and used as part of gift entry for tracking purposes.  If, however, you distinguished alum is having donations in his/her honor directed to you, then set up a tribute on the tribute tab.   I would also make an attribute -- We have Awards received adn then put the name of the award in the comments section.
