    Associate RE Database Analyst in Tampa, FL

    Title:

    Associate Analyst  
    Reports to: Donor Services Analyst  
    Position Profile: The Associate Analyst is responsible for assisting the Donor Services Analyst with various database clean-up projects and maintenance tasks for the Raiser’s Edge database. Ad hoc querying, exporting and reporting are key requirements for this position.  The Associate Analyst is also responsible for data entry into the UNITY database and associated reporting.   
    Revision Date: September 2009  1.                     Responsible for daily UNITY data entry and data quality        reports.
      2. Generate reports as needed to support Outreach and other team members and leaders.
      3. Provide assistance to the Donor Services Analyst with table clean-up in the Raiser’s Edge, including query creation to isolate groups of records, export and import of data to facilitate mass data clean-up, performing global changes to records, and duplicate identification and merging.
      4. Other duties as assigned.
      5. Actively contribute to the achievement of team and organizational targets/goals as stated on the Balanced Scorecard and in the annual plan.
      6. Required to support the Holiday Center as needed.
    Education & Experience:   Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.   
        Demostrated moderate to advanced experience with the Raisers Edge, an understanding of database concepts, theory and best practices is required.  Moderate to advanced experience with Excel and Business Objects.  Some experience with Access preferred.  Strong organization skills and attention to detail are required.  
    Qualifications: 1. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.  Dependable, mature and sensitive to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity. 
      2. Hearing and speaking ability which allows for effective oral communication of information; physical, emotional and spiritual stamina to handle job-related issues and stress. 
      3. Must be able to operate all components of a computer (keyboard, monitor, etc…) for several hours at a time. 
      4. Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States and pass applicable pre-employment background screening procedures.
      5. Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule including week nights, weekends, and during the holidays.
