Mobile giving/Text to give - is anyone using it?

There has been a lot of talk about mobile giving and there are providers out there but it seems expensive and the start up costs are high.  Does anyone use it and has it been successful in raising donations?  Does Blackbaud/Sphere plan on getting into this arena in the future?

We use it here at FBR through mgive.com, it's not too expensive if you make sure and use it, but your marketing dept has to be on board.  We found that audiences under 45 are always more likely to use this and it works best at concerts and with big crowds if you can get the performer to make an announcement.  However I warn that many I've encountered over 45 are very nervous about txt donations, I've even heard "how do I know it's not being intercepted by terrorists?" which is silly, but out there.  I strongly recommend you make sure you know your audience before you start.

    Good luck.  Sean.

How much are you paying for it?  I am assuming you checked out other sites too.

    Thanks for your help.
