Automatically created Adjustment transaction (SB 6)

During cleanup of student activity, an item was deleted that was several years old.  Now when posting to the GL, the batch fails because the automatically created Adjustment (ADJUST prefix on control report) is attempted to post to a hard-closed GL period.  What can be done to either eliminate the adjustment (we'll do it manually in a current period) or change the post date so that it falls into a current period?  Since the transaction was deleted, it no longer shows in the student's activity, so I can re-edit the transaction.  Adjustments do not show up either.

     Hi Tim!

I think I can help you with this one.  Take a look at the student who has the deleted item.  Select Edit, Preferences from the menu bar then mark the Show deleted records checkbox.

From there you should be able to see the item in question and change the post reversal date.
