Does anyone currently track college applications using either the attribute tab or the education tab? If so, would you please share the pros and cons of doing it your way? We would like to start tracking our data, but I am unsure of the best approach. Thank you!

This depends on how much information you want to track. If you want to only track where the student applies to you can add attributes to the student record on the Attributes tab.
With the Education tab you can track much more information. When you add the school on the Education tab you can specify that the school is a Future school. You can also add Attributes and Notes to this education information.
Our college counselor uses TCCI/Naviance for tracking applications. When the seniors graduate and if we know their college, we will enter that college as "Future School" under Education.
Thank you Linda! We just switched to Naviance also, which prompted us to want to save our historical data in EE for any future database changes (switching vendors was a bear!). Thank you again for your input.
We just moved to Naviance as well, but decided to keep all data in EE just incase we decide to move away from naviance to something else... We use the ID fields in the Education tab to put each College/Universities ACT number, so we can then export the data from EE and into Naviance, for previous years, and then from naviance to EE moving forward. This gives us YEARS of data that we can place in naviance for their cool scatagrams :)
