    Salutations

Can anyone tell me how to use different salutations?  ie) I am sending out a mass mailing, for the majority of the mailing I wish to use the salutation 'Dear Mr . & Mrs. John Doe'.  For a handful of recipients I wish to use a less formal 'Dear John & Jane';  this salutation is captured on Addr/Sal3.  How do I extract that salutation, as opposed to Addr/Sal1 or 2?

    Re: Salutations

If you are talking about Addr/Sal Types you can export it from 'All additional Addressee and Salt' fields. Hope i got you right.

    Cheers !

I will test it and see if that works for me.  Thanks.

    Re: Salutations

You could use the addrssees/salutaions tab for different mailings.  Under type you could use formal and list. Mr. and Mrs. John Smith.  Then you could use an informal type for John and Mary.

I use this tab for my membership listings.  I created a type called membership and when I need to compose a list I just export that specifi salutaton.
