    GPA Help!

I know that I have inconsistencies in GPA calculations within our various course types (ie., Honors, AP etc). Historically, it seems weights have been added on the course record and are not being calculated through different translation tables on the marking culumns (although the Standard transation table includes various weight tables...?).

Can anyone with experience calculation both ways advise on the best practice? The knowledgebase info is clear that you should not use both methods, but the explanation for how separate GPA's are calculated on transcripts when added to courses is very confusing to me.

    thanks!

Kimberley,  I would be glad to talk with you about this.  It is too lengthy a discussion for the forum.  My email address is ndunkin@landmark-cs.org Shoot me an email and we can set up a time that we can talk.
