    The Annual Giving and Alumni Relations Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of the annual giving program and the alumni relations program for LFGSM.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning, implementing, tracking and evaluating ongoing fundraising strategies for Annual Giving campaign.  Identifying and cultivating Annual Appeal donors.  Coordinating fundraising events and ensuring appropriate donor recognition.  Overseeing and managing alumni affairs including creating strategies to reengage alumni, directing alumni volunteers, and leading efforts to locate “lost” alumni. The position will also include Donor Research and Business Management responsibilities and requires teamwork and collaboration both within the Enterprise Advancement department and across the School. 

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in development/fundraising and/or alumni relations required.  Proven track record of successful fundraising, particularly in the area of annual giving programs necessary.  Experience in a not-for-profit and/or higher education setting strongly preferred.  Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong service orientation, and experience in dealing well with the public and various constituencies are essential. Solid internet research skills, proficiency in Microsoft office applications, and familiarity with fundraising software, preferably Raiser’s Edge, a must.
