    United Way Records

To those organizations that receive donations from the United Way, I am looking for feedback on the following:
    1. As checks are received from multiple United Way offices do you: Have a separate constituent record for each United Way office and log the UW gifts received from each office to their corresponding constituent record?  Or do you have one UW constituent record and log all UW gifts to this single record, using other RE fields to identify the specific UW office that the gift originated from? If so what other fields are most commonly used?
    2. If you receive UW gifts via United e-Way do you log these to your already existing UW constituent record, or do you have a separate constituent record for United e-Way?
    3. We were just recently notified that future United e-Way donations will be received via Truist, a new for profit company formed via a merger with CreateHope and United e-Way.  We are considering creating a new constituent record fro Truist for gift tracking.  Curious what other have done or plan to do?
As always your thoughts and / or comments are greatly appreciated!

    Re: United Way Records

We are fortunate at this point as we work with only one UW office.  (I'd probably have a record for each office if we in that situation.

As to Truist, I'm just processing gift received from them for some donations.  I am going to create a constituent record for them.  Will soft credit individual making donation/company making MG donation.

These things can sure be more confusing than they appear on the surface Smile
