Pivot Tables - 'Object Variable' error

Hi, I have been trying to run a Pivot Report through RE on multiple workstations. The query that the pivot is based on is a valid working query with proper permissions in place.

Each time I try to run the pivot, it results in a 'Object Variable or With Block Variable not set' error. We are running RE 7.81. Windows XP SP3, Office 2007 SP2. If anyone can help, it would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Had this problem some time ago.  Ended up contacting support.  If I remember correctly they had to do a plug in to correct issue.

    Good luck

Re: Pivot Tables - 'Object Variable' error

Thanks JoAnn. Upon reading your repIy I called support and they had me download and run Microsoft Office Web Components XP. Once that was in place the Pivot Report feature worked fine.

For the benefit of anyone who may stumble upon this, when Office 2007 is installed it does away with Microsoft Web Components if it was previously installed on the client station. This makes it necessary to have to reinstall Office Web Components XP as Raiser's Edge needs this to run the Pivot Report feature. Also, it's important that you choose the XP version of Web Components as the 2003 version will not work.
