Hi Fellow BBNC Users,

We are launching BBNC in Sept and are in the midst of volunteer testing and cleaning up some RE tables that will appear to BBNC users. One of those tables is Schools. We are a K-12 school and capture in RE the schools that new admits have come from as well as education information provided for parents of students. So, in the school table there are all sorts of school types from (elementary, HS, Jr High, daycare). But, we don't want those schools to appear in the table viewed by BBNC users when given the option to search for fellow alumni by school (college, higher ed). So, we started making the feeder schools inactive in the RE table as a way to have them not appear in the table in BBNC. But, if those table entries are coded as inactive, I will no longer be able to import new entries for those values and even if we decided we would enter them manually, I would still have to go in and reactivate the field, before being able to add it. Am I missing something? Seems to me that where BBNC and RE are supposed to be integrated, it should be making our lives easier, not creating more work. I'm wondering if others have encountered the same issue and if so, how have you resolved it? Thanks.
