The College of Charleston Foundation is building a team of highly skilled professionals to support Institutional Advancement at the College of Charleston. The Director of Advancement Support Services will be expected to coach a team of 5 support staff in developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions to meet the dynamic requirements of the Development and Alumni Relations information collection and reporting needs.
We seek a "hands on" leader-manager responsible for effective management of the overall information/data needs of the Development & Alumni Relations programs for Institutional Advancement. Database systems include: alumni/development database, the alumni online community web application, and call center database/application as well as several interfaces. Ensures systems provide critical management information to monitor fundraising progress, execute prospect management/donor stewardship, and develop targeted solicitation & alumni engagement strategies. Shall establish and maintain partnerships with the Info Technology Office & application vendors, to advocate for Institutional Advancement requirements. Responsible for supervising and directing the work of subordinate staff to meet Institutional Advancement objectives.
