    I received a check that included the constituent's donation and the matching gift pledge payment. Is there a way to enter the donation, the matching gift pledge and then pay the pledge off in the same batch?

    You have to enter the gift and set up the match information, then commit the gift. You then go to the Matching Gift Company and apply the amount to the correct matching gift pledge. The match amount can not be entered in the batch because the donor's gift hasn't been commited to their record yet.
