Although we will continue to pay our employees using ADP, Blackbaud Payroll gave us the advantage of many fields which could be used to manage people, benefits, family members, etc.  So we started down that path. 

Is anyone else out there trying to use Payroll as only a Human Resource tool???? 

How are you handling the calendar versus fiscal year issue.  At least 53 of us would like to have an FY choice. 

I think we worked out how to indicate annual salaries, keep track of family members, and allocate benefots.  Creating banks, accounts and other items that won't be used to pay or post is another problem that remains.

We have requested a FY choice as well. This would resolve several issues and make the system much easier to use.  I don't really think that is the goal though.
