We would like to build relationships with our donors by making daily/weekly calls to thank them for their recent gift. I would like to get a list of names/addresses/phone numbers along with some Actions information that may help the caller know about the donor. I thought about creating a query based on gift date and exporting the fields mentioned above. I would like a quick way to produce the lists. Does anyone do this and would you share your procedure? Is there a report?
You could create a constituent profile for each donor. These profiles are located under Profiles, Lists and Directories Reports in RE. The profile template can be edited to include the information you want to see and can be based on a query where the gift date operator is set to ask, therefore refreshing the list each time it is exported.
We have implemented a really slick process to do this. I've attached the information for our staff thank you calls. We do the calls for all gifts up to $249. Our board does calls for all gifts $250 plus. We hve a very similar procedure for them, with adjusted solicitor and gift criteria.
