I have a query that shows donors who have not made any kind of gift since 12/31/05, but I need to see if the donors spouse has made a gift since that time.  Some donors have been soft credited gifts (gifts made by their spouses, who have separate RE records) since 12/31/05, but the donor still shows up on the query.

 How do I either get RE to look at the soft credited gifts, and therefore not pull the donor into the query OR run a query that will show the last gift date of the spouse?

In query, go to tools - query options - gift processing.  You can then set your preference for how query should handle soft credits.
