    NetMail for NetSolutions Membership Renewals

We are just getting started on designing eRenewals for the Baltimore Museum of Art.  We currently use NetSolutions and we were hoping to have a template designed that will give us a modern (ha!) edge, continues in the brand of the museum, but is easily distiguishable from the eNews.  Does anyone have any pointers that they could give for design and integration?  If someone could email me a sample, I would love them forever.

    Thanks,

    Lauren

    Lauren,

Did you ever get a reply to your questions? Or have you completed the redesign of your e-reminders?  I'm in a similar position, too.  Do you have samples that you're willing to share?

I'm looking for this answer as well. I'm the new web master here at the Detroit Zoo [www.detroitzoo.org] and one of my projects, as part of the redesign of the whole website, is to redesign our emails. Well I did just that, in W3C compliant HTML, and when we did our test run we discovered that when the code was sent out it was completely rewritten and thus, completely destroyed the intended design of the emails. I've validated and revalidated the code and run multiple tests and still we've had no success getting the layout to even look remotely close to what it should look like. I've dug through the knowledge base and found nothing, as well as nothing online, so any help would be extremely grateful.

I'm not sure if email clients are overly fussed about w3c compliant markup. All the email templates I've created used old-style markup (tables rather than divs) as I wanted to ensure that the display was consistent across multiple email clients - the emails came out the same in all the different mail clients I tested.

Not sure if it's worth trying to recode with a table-based layout and inline font tags etc but it might be worth a go.
