We have redesigned our annual fund this year to honor faculty members.  I was really excited becasue this would give me an opportunity to learn to us the Honor/Memorial module the way it was intended when my predecessor purchased it.  However, now that our gifts are starting to come in I have run into a problem.  I know that someone, some where has probably asked this already, but I could not seem to make the Search feature work for me today, so I am sorry if I am asking something that has already been addressed numerous times.

I have set-up the tributes in each honoree's constituent record.  I then went to enter the gifts, as I always do, using the gift batch feature.  I can't figure out how to tell RE that this is a gift for a particular tribute.  I looked on the Fields tab of the set-up window, but if the necessary field is there it is not obviousl.  How do I link a new gift to a tribute using the gift batch feature?

It was more then helpful.  It was exactly what I was looking for.  I'm so used to entering gifts in one particular way, that I am embarrassed to admit that I kind of forgot all about the tool bar.  I only ever use it for Soft Credits and Spilt Gifs and those are few and far between.  Thanks again!

I'm glad that was what you were looking for -- I meant to include one other item.  I use my keyboard a lot when I'm doing data entry and from Batch you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + B to get to the add tribute information window also.
