    I am looking for a way to globally change the distribution for certain vendors....is it possible to accompish this?

    Currently there is not a way to globally change the GL distribution for vendors.  You can make this adjustment in one of two ways, import the new distribution or use a query and default distribution.  Depending on the number of records to update, the query option may be easier.  Take a look at the alternative solution in Knowledgebase solution BB529112 for the steps.
