I have a dual role, Registar/US Admin Asst, but have been charged with the implementation and maintenance of the Registrar's package from configuration to scheduling, grade reporting to Faculty Access training, etc. I have a feeling that these jobs are parcelled out in other schools.

How does your school handle the use of Registrar's as far as division of labor, authority, etc? Is your Registrar an administrator with concurrent authority that supervises the implementation/use of the system, or is that person strictly a user? Do you have a tech person in charge of the configuration? What about updates and faculty/staff training?

I'd love to hear from you....
