&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Human Rights Watch (&amp;quot;HRW&amp;quot;) &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;is seeking a Coordinator of Development Operations to provide global operational and technical support to its Development &amp;amp; Outreach department.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Description&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;:&amp;nbsp; &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;The Coordinator of Development Operations will coordinate donation processing systems for the Development and Outreach department&amp;#39;s worldwide fundraising operations.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; S/he will be in charge of gift entry and acknowledgments and oversee our online giving systems, powered by Kintera.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The position reports jointly to the Senior Database Manager and to the Deputy Director of Development &amp;amp; Outreach who oversees Development Operations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The general job duties of this position include, but are not limited to: supervising the gift entry and acknowledgment processes; liaising with outside vendors and other development staff; overseeing our online donation pages and generating gift reports for city development directors in North America, Europe and Asia; working with Kintera to build new systems and implement changes and upgrades; assisting the Senior Director of Marketing with online fundraising campaigns using Kintera; assisting the Deputy Director and Manager of Development Operations with conceptualizing and implementing a new database and software tools; preparing &lt;em&gt;ad hoc&lt;/em&gt; and custom reports using HRW&amp;#39;s Raiser&amp;#39;s Edge database; processing and overseeing the acknowledgment of major gifts, including writing acknowledgment letters; processing stock gifts; ensuring the accuracy, continuity and security of donor data; overseeing the Development department&amp;#39;s content on HRW&amp;#39;s intranet; coordinating with Development and Legal Department staff on donor data privacy requirements; and other assigned tasks. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Qualifications&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;:&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver, strategic and organized thinker with a minimum of two years of experience working in an operational or technical support role.&amp;nbsp; S/he will have advanced knowledge of online fundraising software and database systems, preferably Kintera and Raiser&amp;#39;s Edge; experience overseeing vendors and working with colleagues in remote offices; expertise in database queries, import/export and reporting functions; full working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, mail merges and other standard software applications; strong oral and written communication skills; and excellent time-management and prioritization abilities. &amp;nbsp;A Bachelor&amp;#39;s degree or equivalent experience is required. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail and able to work well under pressure while juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in oral and written English is essential; proficiency in French and/or German is desirable. &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Applicants for this position must possess current U.S. work authorization valid for a minimum of two years from start date.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
