Documenting policies and procedures helps ensure data consistency and increases efficiency. Your manual also serves as a training document for new employees. 

Use these examples from other organizations as a starting point. Every organization's policies and procedures are unique, so we don't recommend copying another organization’s manual. The value of your manual derives from the effort you spend creating and maintaining it.
