Documenting policies and procedures helps ensure data consistency and increases efficiency. Your manual also serves as a training document for new employees. Use these examples from other organizations as a starting point. Every organization's policies and procedures are unique, so we don't recommend copying another organization’s manual. The value of your manual derives from the effort you spend creating and maintaining it. For tips for creating your own policies and precedures manual, review Knowledgebase solution BB79454.

Sample Import File for Tracking Credit Card Charges

Here is a sample import file to import individual credit card charges submitted by Patty Randol of Crow Canyon Archaeological Center.

Cash flow projection worksheet

12 Month cash flow projections with summary worksheet and detail worksheets

Business Office/Financial Edge procedure manual

Does anyone have a FE procedure manual they would like to share?

Voucher format for AP Coding

We have recently upgraded our FE version and will begin using both Project and Grant records. Our current Accounts Payable voucher doesn't allow for easy distribution of an invoice to more than one project and grant because of the format.

We need to update our Accounts Payable voucher to include areas to record project and grant distribution amounts. Does anyone have a form or format that will allow entry of multiple coding distributions, yet summarize the information for data-entry? We have one set of people vouchering the forms, and others performing the data-entry.

thanks!
