Background: The MacDowell Colony, America’s first multidisciplinary artist residency program, has provided more than 6,200 composers, writers, visual artists, architects, interdisciplinary artists, playwrights, and filmmakers with uninterrupted time and private space for creative work since 1907. Located on 450 woodland acres in Peterborough, New Hampshire, the Colony awards Fellowships to more than 250 exceptionally gifted artists from across the country and abroad each year. ● B.A. degree and experience working at a nonprofit organization
● Excellent computer skills. Demonstrated training and experience using Raiser’s Edge 7 for
donor management essential; experience with RE: Search a plus.
● Excellent communications skills, both written and oral; ability to interact well with board
members, donors, and staff
● Detail-oriented and organized; ability to prioritize, multitask, and accomplish objectives in a
fast-paced environment
● Occasional evening hours and minimal travel
Salary: $33,000 - $37,000 based on experience, with full benefits package
