We had a temp do data entry during registration.    We keep finding students who do not share an address with their parent.

I am trying to write a query of "who doesn't have a shared address".  The first step in this would be:  "who has a shared address?".

I dont' see anywhere to do this.  Has anyone ever done this?

I found a way to do it.   What I did was an export of the student addresses and the relationships that "live with".  Then, I exported to excel and did an if statement (if (a2 = g2, "same", "different") .

 This tells that they live together and their address is different.  Of course, if their address is spelled exactly the same and they are not shared, I wouldn't pick up on those, but at least it will fix some of them.

We also would like to be able to Query on shared addresses and have asked Blackbaud for this feature. Sharon's workaround is great but unfortunately if the address isn't truly shared via the share address option, and it is just typed into all records, updates won't happen properly.

I've had addresses that were "unshared" after running synchronization - and have also asked about being able to query on shared addresses. 
Knowledgebase Solution BB358982 references creating a report to show shared addresses - which isn't exactly what we're talking about - but close.  The current solution is similar to Sharon's suggestion - but this solution has the "add me to the list" link - so please visit and click on it!
