    Students held back a grade...

Though this does not happen often, at times we have had to hold a student back a grade level due to poor grades, poor attendance, etc.  Has any other institution gone through this, and if so, how did you track it?  Blackbaud suggested manually updating the Student Progression chart to reflect this during the re-enrollment period, which does help, but we're having trouble finding these students to ensure they are flagged prior to re-enrollment.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

My first suggestion would be to create an action each student that has been held back.

A list or query could easily be run from that.

You could also add a note or annotation to the student's record.
