Reports to:  Senior Campaign Director

Job Summary:  The Development and Marketing Associate is responsible for the processing, receipting and acknowledgment of all gifts to the Village. Additionally, this position provides office management, administrative and program support to the Development and Marketing departments.

• Gift processing, entry and acknowledgement utilizing the Raiser’s Edge database
• General updates to donor records in the RE database
• General office management and support, including ordering supplies, invoicing, filing, scheduling meetings, preparing mailings, etc.
• Preparation of materials for all Board and Board Committee meetings, and all related follow-up
• General support to Campaign Steering and Event Committees
• Assist with special event planning and execution
• Assist with Marketing projects, including vendor management and follow-up
• Assist with In-Kind Giving program
• Assist with the preparation of data lists for Development and Marketing mailings
• Other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Minimum of three years office experience and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of database and/or fundraising software preferred
• Familiarity with a marketing and/or communications environment preferred
• Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments, work accurately and meet deadlines
• Ability to assume responsibility for confidential donor information and records
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate well with people at all levels both internally and externally, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
• Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
