When I create a constituent and link the individual to an organization, and if the individual's contact information is "Shared", then it gets dispersed like bad virus to anyone and everyone who are linked to the organization. If I click "Do Not Share" afterwards, it still shares it. We use RE 7.84 and were told by Blackbaud that this problem would be fixed if we upgraded RE to 7.84. Unfortunately it has not. Does anyone have this problem and/or know how to fix it?

The latter part of your issue sounds similar to what's been reported in Knowledgebase solution BB440912: "Clicking 'Stop Sharing This Address' does not break the link between the individual record and their relationship record on another constituent record." If this is what you're experiencing, I'd suggest creating a Support case so you'll be notified when it's resolved. I did not see anything in Knowledgebase about an address sharing issue being corrected in RE 7.84--sorry if you were previously misinformed.

There is an alternate solution in BB440912 to force the address to stop sharing if you want to consider those steps, though they involve deleting and recreating the relationship record. Hope this helps!
