I am the designated guinea pig selected to test Office 2007 before full-blown implementation in September. I just installed 2007 on Friday. One of the first things I noticed is that I get the following message where my Dashboards used to be -
Before you can use the Dashboard feature, you need to install Microsoft Office Web Components software. Please refer to the Raiser's Edge Installation Guide for instructions.
The Installation Guide refers me to an Office XP Web Component utility. Seems like an XP utility is not going to help me with Office 2007. Anyone else run in to this with their dashboards?
It is exactly what you need. Install the XP utility and your Dashboards will work. No rebooting or re-installing RE required.
Also, if you use Outlook integration with Raiser's Edge, all the components for that are not installed as well. It's the Exchange CDO installation that you need. We've burned it to a cd so I don't have the link. Sorry!

Thanks Laura - ir worked perfectly.
I found the CDO download here -

in case anyone else needs it.
Is this something that has to be installed on the server or on your local machine....and where do you find the software for the Microsoft Office Web Component ...
