    About Cedars’ Sinai Medical Center In 2008, Cedar’s Sinai ranked as one of the top hospitals with in the U.S.  We are known for our research, graduate medical education and highest quality patient care.  We have more than 2,000 physicians in almost every clinical specialty, 9,000 employees, 2,000 volunteers and 15,000 fundraising support group members.     Visit our site:  http://www.cedars-sinai.edu  Job Summary:   The Business Analyst/Trainer will be under the supervision of the Associate Director for Development Services, responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit.   Duties and Responsibilities: Designs and documents workflow and reporting needs and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness.  Tracks and analyzes business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations  Lead a number of key projects for the business unit and the department.   Will be the functional expert for specified application(s) and act as the point of contact between the business unit and Information Technology staff.    Provide training and training documentation support on internal processes so that employees can perform their jobs as effectively as possible.    Qualifications:       Proven success in the following competencies: (a)         Analysis and Reporting (b)        Business Planning and Management (c)      Communication and Presentation (d)        Customer Focus and Relationship Building (e)         Information and Technology Proficiency (f)         Leadership, Training and Coaching (g)       Problem Solving and Decision Making(h)       Ability to establish and maintain professional customer service relationships with internal and external clients (i)       Minimum 5 years experience in a fundraising environment, business analysis and project management is preferred. (j)       Knowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and Researcher’s Edge is preferred. (k)      Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. (l)       Knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferred. (m)     Experience with writing or preparing training materials.(o)       Experience with specifying and developing reports.
