How to track new spouse records?

    One question

We finished big job adding/linking spouse records and then soft crediting for past gifts.

I noticed that some users started adding new spouses without checking automatically soft credit for spouse gifts (general tab 2).

Is there way to create control query that will show me all new spouses?

    I created this query

(Spouse automatically soft credit this individual for gifts equal No and spouse is this spouse equal Yes) and ( spouse id not blank and spouse deceased equal no) And spouse date added equal this month.

This is only for spouses that have records in RE

    Any suggestion ?

Re: How to track new spouse records?

    Hi there,

I would have done something similar to this.  I would create a query that included Spouse Date Added-for the month and place the first name, last name fields in the output box.  I also would have wanted to take a look at who is adding the spouses.  Depending on what part this person or persons play in your organization, maybe it would be helpful to probably set up some ground policy on the necessity of soft crediting a spouse, every time a spouse is added (or whatever the case maybe) so that everyone is on the same page and are doing the same thing.  That's what we do in our department.  Hope this was a little helpful.
