Hello all!
We are restructuring our office and have recently added an FTE for a grant writer. We are working on a policy to centralize all grant seeking activities and of course will coordinate the financial requirements with our Acctg Dept to make sure we comply with all financial/reporting requirements. I would love to hear from folks who have a centralized or de-centralized system that works. Right now any one in the entire Health System could theoretically apply for a grant as long as a recently formed grant committee approves it. We'd like to see things become a little more strategic in nature and have a good handle on what the org's needs are and know what dept has applied for what grant.
