I just started working for the Greater Boston Food Bank and the Director of Development has asked me to put together some quick tips to present at Development meetings to educate the rest of the team about some features of RE that they may find useful. I have some ideas, but was wondering if others might share what their favorite quick tips are? Keyboard shortcuts, how to change the colors in legend options, etc. Just little quick things while I get my bearings here and before I start delving into bigger and better stuff with them.
Thank you for sharing!

My absolute favorite quick tip is in Query. Left click and hold any field then drag to another tab (e.g., in Criteria, left click and hold last name and drag to the Output tab.
This is a great question, I'll be watching the answers for other tips.

Does everyone in your team use RE? if they aren't going to be using it a lot you might want to show them how to use the NOTES feature. Whenever they speak with a donor or give a tour they can put that info in the Notes section. We find it really helpful for major giving. The more we know about the donor the better. And RE is a great place to store all that info.
Hi, Amy. You may want to peruse through The User's Edge blog to see if any of the posts would be useful to share with your team. I'm a big fan of using favorite fields in Query, and I also recommend using output queries in Mail to easily match up letters with the corresponding envelope or label.Hope that helps!Sarah
I love using favourites to set up shortcuts to reports, queries and using dashboard panels. I also organise these in folders - there are a number of daily, weekly and monthly queries that I should run and this makes it easy for me not to forget!!
Thanks
