I've got a report that's tripping me up, and I'm pretty sure I have to write a Crystal Report but want to see if there's a work-around. I'm trying to pull a report that looks at donors who have given $5,000 or more (cumulatively) each year for the last five years. Then I want to look at the same group, but those who have given 4 out of the last 5 years; and then the same group who have given 3 out of the last 5 years. I can do the first group pretty easily, but it's the next two (4 out of 5 and 3 out of 5) that I can't figure out. Any suggestions?
Hi Beth,
I think you're probably right -- the Crystal Report is certainly going to be the easiest and fastest solution. It could probably be done in RE but it would require an entire series of merged queries that would take far more time than the report. It makes an interesting report. I'd love to know how many other orgs look for the same information. Maybe we can add it as a sample in one of our Crystal classes.
Thanks,
Naomi
