I'm not seeing many posts on using LYBUNT & SYBUNT reports. I'm trying to determine which constituents gave to the annual fund last year, and have not yet given to this year's annual fund. I get fewer entries when I don't state a fund; more when I indicate a specific fund. It makes no sense that the more global inquiry has fewer results than the specific. And, the very first constituent listed has contributed to this year's fund already - shouldn't be on the report at all. Tips, ideas, input, please.
Actually, it absolutely makes sense that the more specific the filters the more LYBUNTS you will get. If I gave to the annual fund but gave to something else this year I am a LYBUNT to the Annual Fund but I am not a LYBUNT to the general program because I gave this year.
I can't answer about the one person you see who you think should not be there. I would re-check your date paramaters and filters again because reports usually give you what you ask for - when results come out wrong most often it is because you asked the wrong thing.
I'm having some difficulties understanding how I can exclude spouses of contributors from this report. If my husband gave to the Annual Fund and it was hard credited to him and soft credited to me in the database, I should not appear as a non contributor on the LYBUNT report and yet- I do. Any ideas?
Select Soft Credits go to both on the Report.
Is it normal for the number of non contributors to get larger at that point? It seems to me that the number would decrease, but I'm no expert!
