     Job SummaryThis position contributes to the mission of the organization by:  raising awareness of Medical Teams International’s outreach worldwide through the web, inspiring web users to get involved through prayer, giving, volunteering and social networking so that more people are helped through our Christian health programs globally.RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Medical Teams International’s Web site·         Create and maintain Medical Teams International’s Web site·         Help constituents learn about Medical Teams International’s mission and accomplishments, register for e-mail communications and personalized content, make donations and get information about Medical Teams International events.·         Coordinate Web site design, layout and content relevancy, consistency and timeliness.·         Coordinate messages on Web to integrate with other marketing channels – direct mail, public relations, and publications.·         Produce   electronic communications/e-newsletters as needed and/or assigned.·         Maintain online communications calendar for e-newsletter and other scheduled communications to donors.·         Write and assign articles, videos, and other content for the Medical Teams International Web site that ensure a high level of Web site usability and effectiveness.·         Create and maintain online fund raising tool for volunteers.·         Interface with staff and volunteers as needed to collect background and data for stories.·         Prioritize online projects based on their impact on key metrics such as growth of the e-mail file, fundraising and Medical Teams International disaster response operations.·         Create plans to increase web traffic, email contacts, and donations via the website.·         Manage all online projects, developing and tracking timelines and defining resources required for these projects.·         Act as a primarily liaison between Communications and IT Departments.Technical Support·         Interface with Web site software companies to create site modules and troubleshoot problems. Interact with Medical Teams International IT department to resolve Web site/database issues.·         Create and update web pages via content management tool. Analytical Responsibilities·         Provide monthly updates on key metrics including Web site traffic, growth and profile of the e-mail file, fundraising and any other online activities as requested.·         Track success of email and online activity·         Implement and analyze success of paid search  Strategic Plan Responsibilities ·         Produce and distribute E-Newsletter.·         Continue to offer web-based venue for volunteers to raise money through Team-Raiser in increasing numbers each year.·         Enable volunteers to upload stories and photos to a website accessible site for donors, staff and others on the field.  Desired Minimum Qualifications           Commitment to Medical Teams International mission statement.            BA or BS in related field required or any equivalent combination of education and experience, additional education substituting on a year for year basis for the required experienced.           Four (4) years previous marketing/web experience required, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, additional education substituting on a year for year basis for the required experienced.           Experience in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field.           Strong writing and editing skills.           Knowledge of how to communicate effectively with the Christian community.           Experience with online giving and an understanding of how online content, communications and appeals drive fundraising results.           Experience using a CMS.   NetCommunity experience desired.           Basic HTML required.  Javascript and CSS experience desired..            Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; flexible.           Ability to operate well in a fast-paced work environment.           Ability to work flexible schedule and weekends as needed.           Able to work independently and to meet production deadlines with limited supervision. For more information and to apply online please see our website:  www.medicalteams.org.  Please note there is no relocation budget for this position.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
