I was wondering if anybody out there has had much success with keeping people in FE Payroll before they are officially hired. We employ staff in churches throughout the country and have new staff three times a year so keeping track of our applicants is a big deal (especially if we want to cut down on "double entry" in spreadsheets and FE). There is an example in the help files in Action Tracks on moving people from Applicant to Employee, however you hit a road block right away when you go to save the applicant and it requires a Hire Date. I looked this up in the Knowledgebase on the Blackbaud site and I guess this was an added feature on one of the latest versions (nice feature, huh?).Was just curious if anyone has done this successfully and what has been done to get around issues like this as well as others we may not have thought of.Thanks,Joe
