    Fixed Assets

    Hi

Does anyone have experience with the fixed asset module in FE? Once I dispose of an asset it continues to

show up each month when I calculate the depreciation for the month.  It is listed as an "exception" at the bottom of the report.

Does it stay on there forever? Should it?

    Thanks!

It should quit calculating depreciation but it does stay on the report forever.  You should be able to delete disposed assets at some point.

When calculating depreciation for the month use the filters to exclude the disposed of assets.  I use a dynamic query and it works great.

    Re: Fixed Assets

Once an asset is disposed it should no longer be included in the calculation or display as an exception on the Depreciation Control report.  This issue is reported in BB512048.
